1st Issue: Advent of the Betrayer
2nd Issue: Fang of Saturn
3rd Issue: Coalition of Fates
4th Issue: Another Path, Another Story
Issue titles are subject to change. The first issue covers the path of Kari, the loss of her home, and her pursuit of the man whom destroyed it. Along the way she meets friends and foes alike, among them, Eric, a seafaring traveler, whom is also in pursuit of the same man, Ila, an apprentice to the Great Healer of a town called 'Vale', and Aiden, a bandit in the wrong place and the wrong time who gets in over his head. This story chronicles that journey as they chase the Betrayer throughout Weyard. What are his goals? His aims? The reasons for his actions?
The second issue follows the path of Sai, the theft of his village's treasures, his pursuit of the thief, and the chain of events that take him down a path with a much more important mission. Along the way, he makes both friends and enemies, including Freya, a warrior from a seafaring tribe of the North, Clyde, a pirate whom's former shipmates were annihilated though alchemic abuse, and Nina, a mage prodigy whom joined on a whim, but became dedicated to a cause. This story chronicles his journey as he chases the thief, and gradually shifts his goals. Were the accusations of the thief true? How has the abuse of alchemy become so rampant without the knowledge of his village? And just what really is 'Saturn'?
The third issue follows the joint forces of Kari and Sai, whom now have a common goal, combine their forces to try and stop what seems to them to be the Betrayer's attempt to eliminate anything that can oppose him. Though they don't know if they can stand a chance against him, they know that they must do anything to stop him, even if it costs them their lives. With Kari's signature armor and weapon recovered, and the Murakumo's true power unleashed as the Kusanagi, the adepts step forward with determination, refusing to let their world be ravaged by this mad man who calls himself a god...
The fourth issue follows the Kari, Sai, and the others in their travels after the events of the third issue. In game terms, this is the "post game". It in and of itself comes in mini short stories, each one being an optional and/or post-game dungeon that would be present within the doujin game. As a result, it doesn't really follow a set timeline per se, but rather just as the name of the issue implies, there's a new story for each new path. This includes things like - attaining summons, side quests, the elemental caves, material/ore farming, the Luna Sanctum, and other things. As opposed to the first three issues, this one is a bit more light hearted.
All and all, these serve as the alpha script for my Doujin Game. As such, they'll be lacking in overall visual descriptions. To try and offset this, I'm getting commissions done for the major characters, and perhaps major scenes as well. That way, those who don't test the Beta version, or play the Final version (assuming Camelot gives me permission to release it), can still enjoy the story. Of course, credit for the art will be given where credit is due. And of course, being as this is essentially a Doujin, the original credit for Golden Sun goes to Camelot themselves.
Now that you've got the gist of it all, and what I've been doing, I may be posting the story soon. Between the spriting, the initial planning, and working on the story, and the job hunting, I've been kept quite busy, so that's why I've been so inactive in both my journal and my submissions.

There is more in this world than just Good and Evil, Light and Dark, Black and White. There are a multitude of colors that you won't see if you just look at the world in two extremes.
